3D Sculpture Summer Art Class Now Open to 2019-20 Eighth Graders
This course will explore a variety of mediums including papier-mâché, clay, textiles, metals and mixed media. Emphasis will be on creativity and concept through use of basic design elements, function, aesthetics, and craftsmanship using essential vocabulary and exploring art history from various perspectives. Current trends in three-dimensional art along with the role of technology in the production of art and the current job market in the arts will be explored.
Class will be held at San Marino High School, Monday thru Friday June 3rd to June 21, 8:00 a.m. to 12:20 p.m.
