AEG Partners with Pasadena Unified School District to Host Job Shadow for John Muir High School Students



John Muir High School students receive behind-the-scenes access – including a tour of the Los Angeles Convention Center roof – during a Job Shadow hosted by AEG at L.A. LIVE on Friday, March 29, 2019.

AEG, the world’s leading sports and live entertainment company, welcomed 40 students from John Muir High School in Pasadena to its global headquarters in downtown Los Angeles on Friday, March 29 for a Job Shadow Day and behind-the-scenes look at various aspects of live-event entertainment.

Through AEG and Pasadena Unified School District’s continued partnership over the years, students received one-on-one mentorship from AEG employees throughout the company’s many divisions including AEG Facilities, AEG Presents, AEG Sports, Global Partnerships and AXS TV in the areas of operations, human resources, sales, marketing and more. Students also received a behind-the-scenes tour of STAPLES Center as well as the L.A. LIVE campus, in addition to hearing from Pasadena Councilmember Tyrone Hampton.

The event marks the third year that AEG has welcomed students from John Muir High School in the Pasadena Unified School District for a Job Shadow Day.
