Maranatha High School has the distinct honor of being the host site for the 2014 Pasadena Relay for Life fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. The 24-hour event will take place on May 23 – May 24, from 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Maranatha High School’s football field. Maranatha High School is also supporting the event in a number of other ways, such as walking with a “Team Maranatha” relay team. They are also offering special dress days for the entire last week of school for a donation to the walk. Linda Ruggles ’77, one of their alumna, is selling luminaries for the Luminaria Ceremony and student Emma Hausler will be singing during the ceremony.
