An Official Welcome for Mayfield Junior School’s Incoming Kindergartners

There was standing room only as the current kindergarten class officially welcomed next year’s incoming kindergarten students and their parents at the annual Kindergarten Welcome Play on Wednesday, April 30.

The play is a fun song-filled telling of the story of Noah’s Ark complete with pairs of animals, storm clouds, unicorns and rainbows. A delight every year, this year was no exception as the children performed with noteworthy confidence and enthusiasm. The Noah’s Ark Welcome Play has been a tradition for many years and is now a rite of passage for the youngest members of the student body as they complete their first year at Mayfield.
