Arroyo Pacific’s Full Accreditation Reaffirmed by WASC

The 2019-2020 academic year has special significance as Arroyo Pacific Academy’s Middle School and High School successfully completed the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) self-study with the reaffirmation of our six year accreditation. This process is an important part of our on-going efforts to assure the highest quality educational experience for our current and future students. Student learning occupies the central focus in our pursuit of academic excellence, and therefore, student and parent participation in the accreditation process was essential, most beneficial, and greatly appreciated.

The WASC accreditation process aids Arroyo Pacific Academy as a private, independent college preparatory in developing and sustaining effective educational programs and assures the educational community, the general public, and other organizations that our accredited institution has met high standards of quality and effectiveness.

“I am very pleased with the outcome of this mid-cycle review,” said President Philip Clarke. “Since our last evaluation, the academy has made significant progress on many of its important objectives. We have expanded the campus and re-established our Middle School. We have added Middle School courses to our curriculum and welcomed new teachers and staff.”

Arroyo Pacific Academy will continue working in many ways to improve our programs and increase student achievement of the Schoolwide Learner Outcomes. The administration is thankful for the dedicated faculty and staff for helping keep Arroyo Pacific focused on student learning and success.

“The mission statement of the academy commits Arroyo Pacific Academy to helping students realize their educational goals,” Philip Clarke said. “The WASC report is a strong confirmation that we are on the right path. Now, we need to build on our past success and use it as a steppingstone to provide an even better education for our students in the future.”
