Assumption School Students Visit Underwood Family Farms

Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Students recently visited Underwood Family Farms’ Pumpkin Patch (Moorpark, CA) and the students had a blast and they learned first hand where food comes from! Underwood Family Farms who’s famous for its super fresh, locally grown California produce and who’s mission is to strengthen the relationship between consumers and their farms through direct marketing of high quality produce and positive farm experiences for its visitors via its “Pick -Your-Own Produce” and Educational School Tours programs. This was one way students learn natural farming and sustainable practices and the visit provided a wealth of information for them relevant to many areas of their school curriculum.
