Assumption School Students Worked with Samaritan’s Purse Organization to Provide Christmas Gifts for the Holidays

Assumption School expresses its pride of their Gators and their Generosity! Assumption students believe in living their faith. In its 8th year, the students, families, and staff worked with the Samaritan’s Purse organization to provide Christmas gifts to children across the world living in poverty conditions.

Operation Christmas Child (OCC) as it is called, sends a shoe box filled with gifts and needed items to individual children who seldom, if ever, receive anything new, needed or fun during the holiday season.

Assumption students recently spent “hands on time” stuffing individual boxes, which they have personally decorated. They also included a personal letter for the person receiving the gift. The goal is to send 150 boxes — spreading the gifts of Jesus and generosity. This type of unconditional love is what Assumption is all about! #ABVMgratitude
