Author and Television Writer R.A. Spratt Visit Poly’s Fifth Grade Students

Author and television writer R.A. Spratt, creator of the Nanny Piggins series, visited Poly’s fifth grade students today to discuss her books and what it is like to be a writer. Infused with her clever wit, Spratt’s presentation included answering questions from the students, reading excerpts from her books, a visit from Nanny Piggins herself, shooting a “cannon” at the teachers, and signing books. Kara Ramirez’s students have read the books and were ecstatic to learn that Spratt, who lives in Australia, was in town and would be visiting Poly.
