Barnhart School Announces New Assistant Head of School, Miriam Singer



Barnhart School announces its new Assistant Head of School, Miriam Singer.

Miriam Singer is thrilled to be joining the Barnhart community. She has a passion for empowering students as well as helping teachers to grow.

Singer studied the Classics at Phillips Exeter Academy, earned her BA in English Education from University of California in Berkeley, and an MBA in Organizational Behavior from California Lutheran University. She had a stint in LAUSD District Intern Program Teaching Credential and a summer program in Harvard University Graduate School of Education. Prior to this position, Singer was the Founder and Content Creator/ Curator of Edcouragementor.

Her hobbies include reading, exercising, and baking (stop by once a week to try her homemade goodies!).

She also loves to spend time with her family which includes her husband, her two newborns, Eliana & Emmet, and her rescue dog, Sprocket.
