The entire group of 50 ASB (Associated Student Body) members, from grades six through twelve, traveled to South Pasadena on Oct. 23. The group participated in the California Association of Student Councils’ day-long annual training and bonded as a team and had fun as  learned how to be more effective and efficient. Training covered both working in committees and as one body, and these hard–working ASB members are already using the new methods to advance student activities.

9th Grade ASB President Amara Young said she loved the icebreaker activities and the games that helped get each other to talk. The staff were wonderful and outgoing, and she can’t wait to go again next year. This is Amara’s second year in ASB and her second trip to this training. (Amara is in the very front, left, in photo.) She and her brother are one of at least four sets of siblings in Blair ASB this year!
