Blair SRLA Runners in Last Stretch Before Marathon
Blair SRLA (Students Run LA) team is on the run! On January 19th all Blair SRLA runners participated in the Pasadena Half Marathon. This was the second of two half marathons and their fifth race of the season. It gave the competitors lots of pride to run this race in the beautiful city of Pasadena and share the course with over 3000 other SRLA student runners.
In February SRLA students will participate in That Dam 30k hosted by SRLA. This 18+ Mile run is an official qualifier for our runners to participate in the LA Marathon. The season began with a 5K in September, 10k in October, 15K in November, Half marathons in December and January, 18-Mile Run in February, all leading up to the marathon. Blair SRLA has ran over 350 miles by the end of January and are getting ready to conquer the big 26.2 LA has to offer. Blair thanks its families, Blair staff and friends for their support in the Run-a-Thon that will motivate the team to push through difficult miles. Come support Blair SRLA team at the Marathon on March 8th in the streets of Los Angeles.
