Bosco Tech Senior Mendoza Participates in Red Cross’ Sound the Alarm Campaign

A big shout out to BoscoTech senior Alexis Mendoza (MSET) who is completing a summer internship with the American Red Cross – a great opportunity since he plans to pursue a career in medicine! Alexis (above pictured with fellow interns) has been conducting public outreach for the Red Cross’ “Sound the Alarm” campaign that educates the community about fire safety and installs free smoke alarms in homes in at-risk neighborhoods. Alexis and his team have also conducted the Disney Pillowcase project, a program that prepares children for disasters like earthquakes. This week, Alexis helped give a teen preparedness presentation at his old middle school. BoscoTech is proud of Alexis and all its hard-working summer interns!
