Carver School Celebrates the Nation’s Veterans

At yesterday’s Flag Ceremony, every student at Carver School participated in celebrating the nation’s veterans with an American flag. This is a Carver School tribute to all those who have served and are serving the country in all branches of the Armed Forces. It especially honors those who have given their lives for the freedom we enjoy in these United States of America.

On this Veterans Day, please help your child select a place on your property, such as the front lawn, on which to plant the flag. The flag should be displayed through the weekend (November 10th-13th). On Monday, November 14th, your child is to roll up his/her flag and bring it back to school so it may be saved for Memorial Day tributes.

Thank you for helping your child understand the importance and meaning of this national holiday!
