Carver’s First Day Packets for 2014-2015 will be Online Through the Powerschool Parent Portal

Carver Elementary School’s annual registration materials for the upcoming new school year, commonly referred to as the “first day packet,” will be exclusively online in order to collect information and process funds.

All parents and guardians must first be able to login to the PowerSchool Parent Portal in order to complete the online first day packet. A parent letter containing their specific login information were enclosed with their child’s report card. Please look for this letter, follow the instructions, and verify that each one can login to the parent portal. For those who has trouble logging into the portal, please seek technical assistance from Erik Negroe at the District Office – ps@smusd.us – or call him at (626) 299-7000 ext. 254.

Online first day packets are expected to be available in mid-July this year, but the school recommends that parents act now to make sure that each one can access the Parent Portal first. For those who already has access to the PowerSchool Parent Portal, then they don’t have to do anything else. Another announcement will be made around mid-July when the online first day packets become available.
