Barnhart’s Grandparents and Grandfriends Day 2016

Barnhart’s Grandparents and Grandfriends Day 2016 followed its traditional schedule today, with grandparents partaking in breakfast together, visiting classrooms, and participating in class activities. This year new-to-Barnhart grandparent, James Symons, addressed the crowd asking them what they might choose as the best time of their lives. A retired Presbyterian minister who created an interfaith church in Olympia, Washington, Symons once marched alongside Martin Luther King.
