Chandler School Clinches Girls Basketball Title

Chandler School’s girls basketball team earned the Middle School Independent School League title while playing at home in an exciting playoff matchup with Rio Hondo Prep. The two teams were tied 20-20 at halftime, but Chandler pulled away in the second half, to notch a 41-29 victory. Arianna Stavropoulos scored 16 points, while Courtney Gangi made it into double digits with 12 points for Chandler. Solid team rebounding on offense and defense also made a difference in the victory.
