Eighteen Westridge Eighth Graders Recognized as National Latin Exam Award Winners

To receive the award, a student must score higher than the national average at their level of the test (level I). The purpose of the exam, sponsored by the American Classical League and the National Junior Classical League, is to promote the study of Latin and to encourage the individual student. This year, Westridge Latin students in grades 8-12 joined over 153,000 students from all 50 states and 20 foreign countries in taking the 2015 National Latin Exam.
