Dear families of our community arts, Eliot
It’s a great pleasure to inform you about the exciting changes that our personal progress Program and achievements of our school Eliot Arts Magnet. Mrs. Sydney Minckler will be our new Teacher of mathematics and science for 8th grade, she has extensive experience as a teacher Integrating the art using his master of arts from school California Institute of the arts. Mrs. Minckler will also be running teams of students for the day of competitions Math and African African American History Bee. We are very delighted that she will offer all His experience in education and in these racing teams.
Additionally, we are very excited to announce that Dr. Charel Bailey has joined our team as the sub director starting the 1st of August. Dr. Bailey began her Professional career as a counselor at school John Muir for three years. Then, she worked for the Department of child welfare, attendance and safety in the district where she served as a counselor For six years, she was a specialist in stop prevention studies students and as coordinator.
Dr. Bailey is proudly a product of our district, graduated from high school, and John Muir Also attended Eliot. Attended Elementary school at loma alta where Mrs. Karen Klages taught Playing the violin. Dr. Bailey is also a mother of two students in the district and recently received her doctorate from the university of Southern California.
The 2017-2018 school year is going to be one of the best in Eliot Arts Magnet! We appreciate your support and Partnership with our school. We hope to see you soon to start the new year in August. Until So enjoy your summer!
