Flintridge Prep’s Boys Cross Country Clinches 10th League Title

Flintridge Preparatory School’s boys varsity cross country team snagged their 10th consecutive Prep League title, finishing with 27 points and an individual league championship title for Hudson Billock ’21. During the final stretch of the boys race, both Billock and Bennett Oakes ’21 gained a major lead, breaking from the pack to secure a stunning finish with Billock’s time of 16:05.27 and Oakes’ time of 16:05.28. This is the second year Prep had a league champion, with last year’s title going to Carson Hasbrouck ’19. Now ranked number 4 in the CIF Southern Section Division V, they’re setting their sights on November 16 for the CIF prelims, where they’ll join the girls team in competing against the top schools.
