Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy Presents “This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing”

“This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing” is a play for those who are willing to engage their imagination. The show will take place in the Amphitheater under the night sky on Thursday, November 7 to Sunday November 10, 7:00 p.m. at Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy’s Outdoor Amphitheater.

Triplet sisters are left in the forest by their woodcutter father and forced to find their own way in the world. From amongst the trees, three resolutions are made; one sister will walk one way to find purpose, one the other way to find adventure, and the third will stay right where she is to create a home. Twenty years later, having circumnavigated the globe, fought Vikings, toppled lighthouses, tamed wilds, and achieved greatness, the three meet again, as women. A moving and irresistibly charming feminist fairytale for young and old.

Tickets are $17.00 and can be purchased at https://flintridgesacredheartfallplay.bpt.me/.

Doors open 15 minutes before curtain. Running time: 75 minutes. Please be advised that the performances are held outdoors. Dress warmly, as you would for an autumn campfire or football game. Cushions are provided and minimal blankets are available at the door, but you are welcome to bring an additional seat cushion and/or blanket. FSHA will be serving chili, hot chocolate, and other refreshments in the Amphitheater prior to each performance.
