Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy to Celebrate 40th Anniversary of Harry G. Johansing Golf Tournament and Dinner

This year Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy (FSHA) will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Harry G. Johansing Golf Tournament and Dinner.

The Harry G. Johansing Scholarship Fund is the largest endowed scholarship at FSHA.

In honor of this milestone year, the dinner will be held on Sunday, October 12th and the Golf Tournament on Monday, October 13th at Oakmont Country Club, 3100 Country Club Drive in Glendale

FSHA invites everyone to attend one or both of these important events and help its current students who would not be able to receive a Flintridge education without everyone’s support.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Harry G. Johansing Scholarship Event. Through the years, the Golf Tournament and Dinner has expanded significantly and attracted a growing demographic. Current and past parents of the school, an extensive alumnae base, and other community members have participated and supported the event in numerous ways. The hosted cocktail party and gourmet dinner has become a “not to be missed” annual event for many.

To date, the Harry G. Johansing Scholarship Fund amounts to $1,453,000. This past year, 11 highly qualified young women who exhibited significant financial need to be able to attend FSHA were selected to be Johansing scholars. Scholarships ranged from $4,500 to $6,000 and were distributed in addition to traditional financial aid to offset their tuition.
