About Muir Ranch

Muir Ranch offers CSA subscriptions for weekly boxes of fruit and vegetables grown by students at Muir Ranch and other regional farmers. In addition, the students run a flower design business that provides custom arrangements for weddings, events and local businesses. When you choose Muir Ranch, you are making a conscious choice to support a student-run social enterprise aimed at teaching at-risk youth invaluable business and life skills through hands on learning. Each CSA subscription funds the year-round internship program for Muir students. Muir Ranch is fiscally sponsored by the Pasadena Educational Foundation, a 501(c)(3) corporation. The Pasadena Educational Foundation (PEF) believes strong schools build strong communities. That is why, for more than 40 years, PEF has been committed to building dynamic community partnerships to support our public schools. Being a vital part of the community enables PEF to provide essential resources and enrichment opportunities to every public school student in Altadena, Pasadena, and Sierra Madre. Whether it be through the arts, music, health centers, gardens, or STEM programs they support, PEF is dedicated to creating a better future for the students and for the community.
