Fusion Academy Pasadena Hosts Dr. Barbara Hoskins in Parent-Community Education Night Thursday

Fusion Academy Pasadena is hosting a lecture by Pasadena-based professional educational therapist and speech-language pathologist Dr. Barbara Hoskins on Thursday, March 24 as part of the Academy’s Parent-Community Education Night Speaker Series.

Dr. Hoskins, who has a Ph.D. in Learning Disabilities from Northwestern University, will speak about the interface between Motivation and Learning.

Hoskins, who has had a private practice in Pasadena for over 20 years, has invested over three decades in working with children, adolescents and adults who have experienced challenges in the areas of learning and behavior. She works with a team of professionals who assists her in providing assessments, consultations and educational therapy.

Hoskins has published books, articles and curriculum materials, and have presented workshops throughout the U.S. and Canada. She consults in schools, psychiatric hospitals and other treatment centers to develop support systems for children and adults so they can be successful in their learning experience.

Her lecture at the Fusion Pasadena Campus, at 825 Colorado Blvd. in Los Angeles, is from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
