Golden Knights Finish Second in National Academic Decathlon Competition



St. Francis High School is pleased to announce that the school’s Academic Decathlon Team finished second in the United States Academic Decathlon 2012 Medium School National Online Competition. This is a remarkable accomplishment that demonstrates the hard work and dedication of this remarkable group of young men. This is the third time that St. Francis has competed at the national level and the second time the school has placed 2nd overall. This year the team also earned twelve individual medals based off of individual member scoring. The St. Francis community is extremely proud of the team’s accomplishments and would like to offer special thanks to the coach, Mr. Dirk Dierking, for making this success possible.
