High Point Academy’s Compost Study Findings



High Point Academy is striving to be a model “green” school. From composting and food scrap recovery to LED Lighting and reduced paper use. High Point students are living the culture of environmental stewardship. Closing the loop on the waste stream is a priority. They have committed to using the compost they helped make as a turf treatment on their playing field.

On Friday, May 24, 2013 at 10:00 Special Guest Speaker Dan Noble, the Executive Director of the Association of Compost Producers, will be on hand to discuss High Point’s “green” initiatives with the theme, “Waste Less Living” at the school’s campus.
