Host a Student from Blair’s Sister School in China for Three Nights

Explore the world without leaving home! Host a student from Blair High School’s sister school in China for three nights (days at Blair). Students from the sister school in China, Beijing 161 High School, are coming to Blair again!

Blair’s Beijing visitors will participate in activities at Blair during the school day, and experience typical American home life with host families. Please consider being a host family. Host families will need to pick up their student or students from Blair the evening of Tue. Jan. 26, and bring them to school each morning. The students will depart from Blair on Fri. morning, Jan. 29. There is no financial compensation for providing lodging or the breakfast and dinner meals, but past Blair host families have found the experience greatly rewarding.

Students from both schools will be able to share information and culture from their sides of the globe and better understand similarities and differences of our two nations and life styles. This experience is a hands-on learning experience in keeping with the international emphasis of the IB programs at Blair.
