Immaculate Heart High School's Justice Fair

Earlier this week, Immaculate Heart’s “Contemporary Moral Issues” class hosted their Justice Fair!

Eleven student groups set up tables representing nonprofit organizations like Project Glimmer, which supports at-risk women and teen girls; Unbound, which sponsors children, young adults, and elders living in poverty; the ASPCA, which is dedicated to preventing cruelty to animals.

To raise money, each group sold items like food, beverages, and beautiful handmade jewelry.

The Fair gave students a taste of community organizing and outreach, and the opportunity to get involved with causes they are passionate about.
