John Muir High: Partnering with UCLA to Prepare Students for the Next Level

John Muir High School hosted the 2015-2016 kickoff for Achieve UC, an initiative organized by the University of California Office of the President to help students understand how to prepare for higher education and encourage them to get and stay on the path to college. Many of the UC campuses participated in the systemwide event.

John Muir High School was selected as the site for UCLA’s only Achieve UC event for 2015-2016 after more than a third of Muir’s seniors who applied to UCLA in 2014 were admitted, a record 10 admissions out of 29 applicants.
