John Muir High School Teams Up with Pasadena Water & Power for the Southern California’s Solar Cup 2016

Pasadena Water and Power recently teamed up with the hardworking John Muir High School Solar Cup Team (Pasadena Unified School District) competing in Metropolitan Water District of Southern California’s Solar Cup 2016.

The team raced their solar boat at Lake Skinner last weekend and finished first place in technical writing– and overcame the adversity of a failed throttle and few blown fuses to be selected by the 37 other high schools for the 2016 Teamwork Award!
