John Muir High High School celebrated Engineering Week from February 13th through 16th, 2018. One of the highlights of Engineering Week was the Career Exploration Showcase. Several hundred EESA students were able to speak to over a dozen local businesses and organizations about the wide range of career opportunities available for students with Engineering and STEM degrees. Businesses who participated include: Northrop Grumman, Pankow Builders, Parsons, TetraTech, and the US Forest Service. Career orientation events are extremely helpful to EESA students in expanding their horizons of professional opportunities and inspiring them in their pursuit of science and engineering careers.
