Family Night was a fun time for Judson School community to gather and enjoy seeing the students’ hard work. All the classrooms were open for teacher, students, families, and friends who attended.
K-8 students presented their history projects they have been working on all fall, based on the time period they are studying in Judson’s International Christian Curriculum. Kindergarteners, first and second graders are studying archeology, Ancient Egypt, and Mesopotamia; third and fourth graders are studying the Age of Exploration, fifth and sixth graders are studying Ancient Rome, Ancient India, Ancient China and Ancient Japan; seventh graders are studying the Renaissance and eighth-graders are studying American History.
9-12 graders put on their annual Creative Arts Night. This year’s theme is Resistance Movements. Students from high school art classes presented special art projects for these themes. The top poetry recitation candidates recited their poems and competed for the top spot to represent Judson at the Los Angeles Poetry Out Loud Competition while the musical theater class presented a special dance number.
