La Salle High School Decathlon Wins Again



The last weekend in October was another exciting opportunity for the Lancer Academic Decathlon team as they traveled to Notre Dame Academy for a three-school, four-event competition against Notre Dame Academy and Saint Monica High School. The Lancers, under the leadership of Mr. Edgar Salmingo, crushed the competition, taking home four of the top 5 spots: Junior John Paris – 5th, Senior Joseph Hernandez – 4th, Senior Julian Malaby – 2nd, Senior Phillip Krings – 1st. Along with these impressive finishes, several other students took home medals for their performance.
