La Salle High School Open House November 3
Open House at La Salle High School is Sunday, November 3, from 12:00 to 2:30pm. The entire family of all prospective students are invited to tour the campus, meet teachers and students and enjoy presentations by the La Salle band, drama club, Student Life, the Parent Association and numerous other clubs and organizations. La Salle High School is a college preparatory, co-educational, Catholic institution, located in Northeast Pasadena on a ten-acre campus with surroundings conducive to learning and to becoming a member of the Lasallian family.
As La Salle High School began its 57th year of academic excellence, nearly 700 students returned to school to enjoy an exciting year.
“We believe the education we deliver to our students is of the highest quality, offering a very broad and deep academic program with 15 AP courses and 14 Honors classes. We field 22 varsity sports teams along with an extensive visual and performing arts curriculum, honor and service societies, student clubs and organizations, student television broadcasts and student publications as well as a very inclusive Student Life program. We provide a healthy, safe and warm community atmosphere for all our students steeped in the Lasallian traditions of educational excellence,” said Brother Christopher Brady, FSC, La Salle’s principal.

La Salle’s curriculum pursues a rigorous balance between college preparatory courses, religious education and enrichment opportunities. It is also committed to a values-based preparation for college that flows from a commitment to religious principles. Service learning is built into the curriculum during each of the four years. During the last five years, 99.5% of La Salle graduates have gone on to college with nearly 90% going to four-year institutions.
