Leon Prochnik Shares Holocaust Experience with Flintridge Prep Middle School Students

Leon Prochnik recently did an assembly for middle school students about his Holocaust experience. When he was 6, Prochnik’s family, which owned a candy factory, was forced to flee the Holocaust in Poland. Prochnik pretended that he had been given magic powers to escape the Nazis by the chocolate vat at the candy factory. His story about the power of imagination to overcome difficulty was inspiring.
