Local Youth Recognized by The First Tee of Greater Pasadena for Outstanding Academic Achievement

79 youth from The First Tee of Greater Pasadena are being recognized for their outstanding academic achievement through The First Tee A/B Honor Roll program. These young people are among more than 6,500 participants at The First Tee chapters in the U.S. and select international locations who will be recognized for academic achievement.

“The A/B Honor Roll is a valuable opportunity that allows our participants from our chapter to demonstrate their commitment and excellence on and off the golf course. Every participant who provided their report cards were given an A/B Honor Roll Certificate and an A/B Honor Roll Bag Tag.”- Mark Fritz, Program Director

The A/B Honor Roll, sponsored by Founding Corporate Partner Shell Oil Company, is a recognition given each semester to The First Tee participants who have made all As and Bs on their report cards. The First Tee acknowledges this academic accomplishment of all young people in the program by awarding each one a Certificate of Achievement.

The First Tee of Greater Pasadena’s programs help young people learn life skills and develop core values on the golf course yet encourage them to transfer what they learn to other areas of their life, including school.
