The traditional Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival was used to be celebrated by having members of the family come together to eat moon cakes and drink tea while talking and watching the big moon in the sky.
This year, the Maranatha international students shared moon cakes with their classmates and staff as a way to commemorate the holiday.
Meanwhile, the school Maranatha celebrated Japanese Sports Day on Monday, October 14. Students wore red and white in honor of the festive day and were invited to participate in games and activities on the field during lunch.
