Maranatha High School’s Performing Arts is pleased to present the opening of Little Women, the Broadway Musical. Based on Louisa May Alcott’s classic 1869 semi-autographical novel, the musical focuses on the four March sisters: Brassy, tomboy-like, aspiring writer Jo, romantic Meg, pretentious Amy, and kind-hearted Beth – and their beloved Marmee, at home in Concord, Massachusetts while the family patriarch is away serving as a Union Army chaplain during the Civil War. Intercut with the vignettes in which their lives unfold are several recreations of the melodramatic short stories Jo writes in her attic.

Little Women, the Broadway Musical, will be presented November 15, November 16 and November 17 at 7:00 p.m. and November 17 at 2:00 p.m. in the beautiful and historic Ambassador Auditorium, 131 South Saint John Avenue, Pasadena. Tickets are $10.00 for students, $12.00 for seniors and $15.00 for adults and are available for purchase on the school’s website, www.Maranatha-hs.org/boxoffice, and at the door one hour prior to each performance.
