Keeping true to its Christian values, Maranatha High School students are giving back this Christmas by inviting Hillsides students and staff to an ‘Evening of Christmas’ performance on December 13.

The school’s Campus Ministries Department is partnering with the Performing Arts Department to host its Pasadena neighbors for an evening of delightful holiday cheer.

Hillsides is a nonprofit that provides comprehensive community-based and residential programs to more than 7,000 at-risk children and families throughout Los Angeles County.

Dedicated to improving the overall well being and functioning of vulnerable children, Hillsides’ aim is to give high quality care and safe, permanent environments for young people.

Maranatha will be welcoming its Hillsides friends by treating them to an evening of music, dance and drama in the beautiful Ambassador Auditorium.

After the show, Maranatha students will treat their guests to some hot chocolate, treats, tree decorating, Christmas carols, and a Christmas story in the Student Center. The school also plans to present the children of Hillsides with Christmas gifts gathered from the MHS student mentoring groups.
