The Maranatha High School Board of Trustees is proud to announce their newest board member who will begin his term in the Fall of 2016, Dr. Benjamin C. Shin.
Benjamin C. Shin is a graduate of Maranatha’s class of 1982. As a student, Ben spent his first three years at the Arcadia/Santa Anita campus and moved his senior year to the Sierra Madre/Canon campus in Maranatha’s first year there. Ben has served as a pastor for over 20 years as well as a professor of Bible/New Testament at Biola University and Talbot School of Theology where he currently teaches.

Ben’s passions include his family (Jen, Adam, & Zach), music, sports, reading, teaching, and being with people. Ben’s vision is to train up the people of God to do the work of God. Ben says regarding serving on Maranatha’s Board that, “I’m so thankful for the Maranatha Difference. It’s because of Maranatha that I received my calling into full-time ministry. I desire to encourage and give back to the school so that many more students can experience the grace and truth of the Lord Jesus Christ in the same way that I did during my time there as a student.”
