Maranatha High School Wows with Spring Performing Arts Showcase

Maranatha’s annual Spring Performing Arts Showcase on May 2 was an incredible celebration of talent and creativity at the school. The first part of the evening included performances from the Mixed Ensemble, directed by Aaron Kolberg as well as pieces from the Orchestra and newly formed Advanced Instrumental Ensemble, directed by John Wells. The second part of the evening included numerous routines in a wide variety of dance styles, directed and choreographed by Maranatha’s new Dance instructor, Ana Gradwohl.

The evening was entitled, “Elements: Substance of God’s Design.” From a musical and dance perspective, the artists explored the elements that make up our universe like fire and ice as well as air and metal, and how God has woven them into His own tapestry of abundance and joy. Through different forms of expression, artists at Maranatha gave witness to the very best in God’s world.
