Maranatha High School’s Back to School Night

Maranatha High School is looking forward to seeing students and families at one of two 2012 Back to School Nights this week. Even though Maranatha has added additional parking spaces in the parking structure, this event is provided on two nights in an effort to accommodate the large number of attending families. Back to School Night is an event everyone will not want to miss. The evening will begin with a brief word from John Rouse, followed by introductions of counseling staff and key administration. Attending families will then have the opportunity to experience a day in the life of their son/daughter at Maranatha.

Teachers will be sharing specific details pertaining to their class, and there will be time to ask questions about course curricula and assessment practices. The school is looking forward to everyone connecting with their exceptional faculty and staff, both returning veterans and new additions.

The nights are assigned as follows:
• Tuesday, August 28th is scheduled for parents/guardians of freshmen and seniors
• Thursday, August 30th is scheduled for parents/guardians of sophomores and juniors
5:30 p.m. – Parent registration begins at the Student Center Main entrance (pick up student’s class schedule
6:15 p.m. – Welcome Meeting in the Student Center
6:45 p.m. – Class rotations begin
8:30 p.m. – The evening will conclude with an AP (Advanced Placement) information session in the Student Center for all current or future parents of AP students.
