Maranatha High School’s Upcoming Benefit Gala: "Jazzy Night Blues"

Get set for the roaring 20s of 2020 as the annual Maranatha High School gala swings into top gear on Saturday, March 7 at The Hilton Pasadena. Friends, families, and alumni are in for a treat at “Jazzy Night Blues,” an evening which will feature an elegant dinner, a jazz quartet, and exciting silent and live auctions.

Tickets are selling quickly for the event, which begins with a reception and silent auction at 5:30 p.m. Last year more than 240 guests attended the gala, and it sold out two weeks in advance.

A one-week stay at a beautiful Dana Point home is among the items to be auctioned off, and the silent auction will feature a number of attractive items for bidding.

Funds raised from the evening will provide for acoustical and sound improvements in the school’s Student Center. The upgrades will allow the space to be used more efficiently for important school events related to admissions, college counseling, student life, and performing arts. Last year’s gala raised more than $165,000 to fund learning-centered renovations in the school’s Academic Center and improved upon students’ use of collaboration, technology and innovation.

Underwriting opportunities range from $500 to $2,500 and cover items such as musical entertainment and valet parking for the evening. Underwriters will receive name recognition on all materials and promotional pieces. Those choosing to sponsor the event will receive tickets, name recognition and more, depending on the package chosen. Sponsorship packages range from $500-$7,500.

Tickets are $125 per person. For tickets, more information, or to become a sponsor or underwriter, visit maranathagala.com or contact Shannon Boalt, Maranatha’s Development Director, at (626)-817-4070, or s_boalt@mhs-hs.org.
