Maranatha High School welcomes new Athletic Trainer Alicia Vessey ’08! The Maranatha High School Athletic Department is excited and blessed to welcome our new Athletic Trainer, Alicia Vessey. Alicia is a 2008 alumnus of Maranatha and has served as the Athletic Trainer at Gabrielino High School for the past six years. When asked about returning to Maranatha, Alicia commented, “I am grateful for the opportunity to return in a professional capacity to the school that ignited my passion for sports medicine! I am also excited to see what the Lord has in store as I have the privilege of sharing my faith and love for athletic training with the Maranatha community.”
Athletic Director Sammy Skinner said, “Alicia has a vast knowledge of athletics and athletic training in particular. She is a wonderful person and is a great addition to our team. Alicia has great character, a wonderful personality, and her faith is unyielding. I am very confident she will serve our Maranatha community well. I am excited to have her in such an important role for our students, faculty, and staff.”
Alicia has a strong background as an athletic trainer and a passion for Maranatha High School. We are blessed to have her join our team and look forward to the way she will help us continue to advance in the care of our student-athletes.
