Maranatha Welcomes New Girls’ Volleyball Coach

Coach Eli Cuenca

Maranatha High School is thrilled to welcome winning Coach Eli Cuenca as the Head Coach of our Girls’ Volleyball program. Coach Cuenca has been coaching volleyball for 15 years with experience at the collegiate, high school (both public and private), and club circuit levels. He most recently coached at Redlands East Valley High School, where in his 3 seasons, he led the Wildcats Girls’ Volleyball program to back to back Citrus Belt League Championships in 2013 and 2014.

Coach Cuenca studied Emergency Medical Care and earned his Bachelor of Science in 2005. He continued his education with United States Sports Academy and in 2008 graduated with a Master of Sports Management.

Coach Cuenca is excited to be moving to this area and joining the Maranatha High School coaching staff. He says “Coaching and mentoring student-athletes is a blessing. I am blessed and privileged to have the opportunity of teaching young athletes this wonderful game.” Coach Cuenca is inspired by Philippians 1:6 “Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion”. Please join Maranatha High School in welcoming Coach Cuenca should anyone see him around campus.
