Maya Rosental-Saporito Winner of the Individual Performance Category at the 2012 History Day LA Competition

Marshall’s historical tradition of excellence continues…Competing in this year’s History Day LA competition on March 10, 6th grade Marshall student Maya Rosental-Saporito took first prize in the Individual Performance category, and first prize overall for the junior division for her performance “The Little Rock Make History for Me” which connects the events at Central High in Little Rock, AK in 1957 to civil rights at Marshall Fundamental and how that is benefiting her today. She will now compete in April at the state competition! Way to go Maya, and, “Go Eagles!”
