Mayfield Junior School’s Class of 2013 presented Footloose the Musical April 19-21 to sell out crowds! Under the direction of drama teacher, Lisa Byrne, two casts shared the spotlight to bring the story of Ren and Ariel and the community in a small town called Bowmont to life. This year the 8th graders contributed to the process from the very beginning. The show featured student choreography, original designs for set pieces, costumes and projections. In addition our very own Mayfield rock band took on the challenge of playing live music throughout the show. Everybody cut Footloose!
