Learning more about the Catholic faith Mayfield Junior School students recently visited the Cathedral of “Our Lady of the Angels” in Downtown Los Angeles. The level of thought, detail, planning and design at the Cathedral is beyond impressive. Each sculpture is a work of art and has its own personality, marked by exquisite carvings.
“Our Lady of the Angels Cathedral” is a significant landmark in Los Angeles and opened in 2002, it serves as the mother church for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, as well as the seat of Archbishop José Horacio Gómez.
