Start collecting your e-waste! Mayfield Junior School’s e-waste collection day is Saturday, January 20 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. What is e-waste? E-waste is defined as any electronic equipment that has reached the end of its useful life, whether in working or non-working condition. Most electronic equipment with a cord or circuit board qualifies. The event is open to the public.
Bring your old computers, printers, copiers, cameras, cell phones, TVs, DVD players, VCRs and small appliances! Large items such as refrigerators and ovens will not be accepted as well as light bulbs and household batteries. Drop off will be in the parking lot just north of the administration building. Click for a complete list of items accepted. “Let MJS help reduce your carbon footprint!”
