Meet and Greet with the New SMUSD Superintendent Dr. Jeff Wilson

The San Marino Schools Foundation (SMSF) held its first VIP reception of the year recently… a Meet and Greet with the new San Marino Unified School District (SMUSD) Superintendent Dr. Jeff Wilson, for its strongest supporters. Held at the home of Cole and Cindy Harris, the reception brought together SMSF Gold Sustainer and above donors, District administrators – including school principals, and, of course, Dr. Wilson.

The reception began with a program presentation from Erin Bilvado, the 2019-2020 Foundation Board President, who thanked all its donors for their support and generosity, not only by monetary means but also with the countless volunteer hours spent making SMUSD great. Erin was followed by Cole Harris and Lisa Link who both echoed Erin’s words about parent involvement and the importance of engagement in ensuring our schools remain at the top.

The program concluded with Dr. Wilson speaking to the crowd, briefly touching on his goals, mission, and vision for this upcoming school year and beyond. He stated that even though San Marino face challenges, it is set up to achieve amazing things for its students to give them the skills they need to succeed.

San Marino Schools Foundation thanks Cole and Cindy Harris for their generosity for hosting this event.
