Mr. Flintridge Prep 2017 Benefits The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation

On March 17, the 12th annual Mr. Flintridge Prep fundraiser brought fun, talent and many, many laughs to students, faculty and parents in the community. But most importantly, all proceeds went to MS Focus, the nonprofit organization that provides free services to people with multiple sclerosis and their families, helping them maintain the best possible quality of life. The event raised $4,400 this year!

Famous (infamous?) for its tongue-in-cheek humor and over-the-top antics, the pageant featured senior MCs Elida Kocharian and Keila Joy Fisher, as well as the 12 Prep seniors vying for the crown, Noel Caverly, Riley Coan, Bruce Dennis, Beau Detchemendy Julian Diaz, Jack Enzminger, Alex Grace, Evan Havunjian, Jordan Hu, Kendall Kikkawa, Chris Tan and Christian Yeghnazar.

In the end, Evan Havunjian’s saxophone serenading talents won out, and he went home with the crown and coveted title of “Mr. Flintridge Prep 2017.” Congratulations to Evan, to runner up Chris Tan and to Mr. Congeniality Jordan Hu.

Thank you to organizer Ms. Ursettie and to all who helped bring this beloved tradition to the community once again.
